Virginia High School Soccer - Washington-Liberty nudges Annandale
March 14, 2024: Arlington, VA 22201 Washington-Liberty Generals (Arlington, VA) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Annandale Atoms (Annandale, VA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Generals confront the Centreville Wildcats (Clifton, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 19. Washington-Liberty will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to McLean (McLean, VA).
The Atoms now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westfield for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 19. Annandale will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Herndon (Herndon, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-0.
