March 14, 2024: Washington, DC 20019 The Woodson Warriors nipped the visiting Banneker Bulldogs softball squad by a final score of 9-8 in Thursday's league battle.
The Warriors (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against School Without Walls (Washington, DC). The Penguins go into the battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, School Without Walls was edged by Jackson-Reed (Washington, DC), 19-9, in a league battle.
The Bulldogs now possess a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Eastern for a battle on Tuesday, March 19. Banneker will meet a Ramblers squad coming off a 27-2 league loss to Bell (Washington, DC). The Ramblers record now stands at 0-1.
