Tennessee High School Softball - Cornersville bounces Giles County
March 14, 2024: Pulaski, TN 38478 Cornersville Bulldogs (Cornersville, TN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Giles County Bobcats (Pulaski, TN), 8-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Community for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 18. Cornersville will battle a Vikings/Viqueens squad coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Zion Christian Academy (Columbia, TN). The Vikings/Viqueens record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Giles County falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Marshall County (Lewisburg, TN) to battle the Tigers in a 3A District 8 challenge on Monday, March 18. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 2-3. Marshall County lost 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Oakland (Murfreesboro, TN)
