March 14, 2024: Opelousas, LA 70570 In Thursday's non-league contest, the St. Joseph's - Plaucheville Eagles (Plaucheville, LA) softball team overwhelmed the host Northwest Raiders (Opelousas, LA), by a margin of 17-1.
With the triumph, St. Joseph's - Plaucheville moves its record to 3-6 on the year. The Eagles host Catholic of Pointe Coupee (New Roads, LA) to play the Hornets in a non-league contest on Friday, March 15. The Hornets come into the contest with a record of 12-8. Catholic of Pointe Coupee won 3-0 in their recent league contest against St. Edmund (Eunice, LA)
In their next game, the Raiders play the Port Barre Red Devils (Port Barre, LA) in a 3A District 4 contest, on Tuesday, March 19. Northwest will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record.
