Mississippi High School Softball - West Lauderdale bounces Union
March 14, 2024: Collinsville, MS 39325 West Lauderdale Knights (Collinsville, MS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Union Yellowjackets (Union, MS), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Knights now own a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they host D'Iberville for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 16. West Lauderdale will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 6-2 league win over Harrison Central (Gulfport, MS). The Warriors record now stands at 10-3.
With the loss, Union falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Clarkdale (Meridian, MS) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 19. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 2-2.
