In Friday's non-league game, the host Upperman Bees baseball team scored a close 4-3 win over the Roane County Yellowjackets.

The Bees (2-5) will now prepare for their game against Stone Memorial (Crossville, TN). The Panthers go into the 3A District 7 game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Stone Memorial nudged Warren County (McMinnville, TN), 4-1, in a non-league game.
