The Islanders now possess a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Santa Fe Christian for a non-league bout on Friday, March 14.
With the loss, Hoover drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to El Capitan (Lakeside, CA) to clash with the Vaqueros in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 15.
