In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Salpointe Catholic Lancers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Gilbert Tigers.

The Lancers (7-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Millennium (Goodyear, AZ). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Millennium lost by Brophy College Prep (Phoenix, AZ), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers play the Queen Creek Bulldogs (Queen Creek, AZ) in a 6A Fiesta challenge, on Monday, March 24. Gilbert will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
