The Sedgwick County Cougars (Julesburg, CO) basketball were winner over the visiting Sanford Mustangs (Sanford, CO), 60-47 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Cougars now possess a 21-4 record. They play next when they travel to Merino for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 15. Sedgwick County will play a Rams team coming off a 53-41 non-league win over Akron (Akron, CO). The Rams record now stands at 25-1.

With the loss, Sanford falls to 24-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Akron (Akron, CO) to encounter the Rams in a non-league test on Saturday, March 15. The Rams come into the test with a record of 16-10. Akron won 54-44 in their recent non-league test against Burlington (Burlington, CO)
