North Carolina High School Soccer - Polk County knocks off North Henderson

March 14, 2025: Columbus, NC 28722

Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Polk County Wolverines (Columbus, NC) and the visiting North Henderson Knights (Hendersonville, NC), saw Polk County's soccer squad prevail over North Henderson by a count of 4-0.

The Wolverines (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Chase (Forest City, NC). The Trojans enter the Mountain Foothills Seven 1A/2A battle with a 0-6 record. In their last battle, Chase by West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC), 3-2, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Knights battle the Smoky Mountain Mustangs (Sylva, NC) in a Mountain Seven 3A battle, on Monday, March 17. North Henderson will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 6-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Pisgah (Canton, NC).
