In Friday's league test, the Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA) lacrosse team overwhelmed the host New Covenant Gryphons (Lynchburg, VA), by a count of 18-3.

Next up, the Barons battle the Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league test, on Saturday, March 15. Blue Ridge will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Crusaders enter the test with a 4-1 record after their 19-5 league win over Sanderson (Raleigh, NC).

The Gryphons (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA). The Cavaliers enter the non-league test with a 2-0 record.
