Fans at Friday's non-league test between the New Bern Bears (New Bern, NC) and the host Corinth Holders Pirates (Wendell, NC), witnessed New Bern's lacrosse squad gain a win over Corinth Holders by a count of 8-6.

The Bears (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Croatan (Newport, NC). The Cougars enter the non-league test with a 6-1 record. In their last test, Croatan nipped Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC), 10-3, in a non-league test.

Next, the Pirates battle the Sanderson Spartans (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, March 18. Corinth Holders will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Spartans enter the test with a 4-5 record after their 14-6 non-league loss to Pennsbury (Fairless Hills, PA).
