Georgia High School Soccer - Cass nudges Woodland
March 14, 2025: White, GA 30184 Fans at Friday's league battle between the Cass Colonels (White, GA) and the visiting Woodland Wildcats (Cartersville, GA), saw Cass's soccer squad hold off Woodland by a count of 1-0.
The Colonels (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Cedartown (Cedartown, GA). The Bulldogs enter the 4A Area 7 battle with a 7-0 record. In their last battle, Cedartown tipped Cartersville (Cartersville, GA), 4-3, in a league battle.
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Northwest Whitfield Bruins (Tunnel Hill, GA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, March 18. Woodland will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Bruins enter the battle with a 8-0 record after their 5-1 league win over Heritage (Ringgold, GA).
