Arizona High School Softball - Tonopah Valley bested by Camp Verde
March 14, 2025: Tonopah, AZ 85354 The Camp Verde Cowboys triumphed over the host Tonopah Valley Phoenix softball squad by a score of 16-7 in Friday's non-league contest.
With the triumph, Camp Verde improves its record to 5-7 on the year. The Cowboys travel to Santa Cruz Valley (Eloy, AZ) to face the Dust Devils in a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 18. The Dust Devils enter the contest with a record of 2-1. Santa Cruz Valley won 8-7 in their recent non-league contest against Coolidge (Coolidge, AZ)
The Phoenix now hold a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Bourgade Catholic for a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 19. Tonopah Valley will face a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 13-0 non-league loss to Gila Ridge (Yuma, AZ). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 5-4.
