The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Casteel Colts (Queen Creek, AZ) and the visiting Cactus Cobras (Glendale, AZ), observed Casteel's softball team prevail over Cactus by a tally of 12-1.

The Colts (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Mesa (Mesa, AZ). The Jackrabbits enter the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Mesa was routed by McClintock (Tempe, AZ), 20-8, in a non-league contest.

The Cobras now hold a 5-9 record. They play next when they host Agua Fria for a 4A West Valley contest on Tuesday, March 24.
