In Saturday's non-league match, the host North Penn Knights softball team scored a tight 1-0 triumph over the Helena Huskies.

Next, the Knights play the West Blocton Tigers (West Blocton, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 14. North Penn will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 7-6 non-league win over Hueytown (Hueytown, AL).
