Georgia High School Soccer - Douglas County overwhelmed by Dalton
March 15, 2022: Dalton, GA 30720 The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the Dalton Catamounts (Dalton, GA) and the visiting Douglas County Tigers (Douglasville, GA), saw Dalton's soccer squad beat Douglas County by a margin of 4-0.
The Catamounts now sport a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to Calhoun for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 16. Dalton will meet a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Woodland (Cartersville, GA). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 4-5.
With the loss, Douglas County drops to 1-9 on the season. The Tigers host East Paulding (Dallas, GA) to meet the Raiders in a AAAAAA Region 5 test on Tuesday, March 22. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 4-8. East Paulding lost 5-0 in their recent league test against Alexander (Douglasville, GA)
