March 15, 2022: Tyrone, GA 30290 The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the Greater Atlanta Christian Spartans (Norcross, GA) and the host Sandy Creek Patriots (Tyrone, GA), saw Greater Atlanta Christian's soccer squad triumph over Sandy Creek by a count of 12-2.
The Spartans now hold a 6-3 record. They play next when they host Chamblee for a non-league test on Friday, March 18. Greater Atlanta Christian will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 5-0 league win over Northview (Johns Creek, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-1.
With the loss, Sandy Creek drops to 4-6 on the season. The Patriots travel to Douglass (Atlanta, GA) to meet the Astros in a AAA Region 5 test on Thursday, March 17. The Astros come into the test with a record of 0-2. Douglass lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Cedar Grove (Ellenwood, GA)
