March 15, 2022: Carthage, TN 37030 Smith County Owls (Carthage, TN) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Macon County Tigers (Lafayette, TN), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Owls confront the Portland Panthers (Portland, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, March 17. Smith County will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record.
The Tigers now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westmoreland for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 21. Macon County will confront a Eagles team coming off a 5-4 league win over East Robertson (Cross Plains, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 1-0.
