California High School Softball - Canyon bounces El Modena
March 15, 2022: Anaheim, CA 92807 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Canyon Comanches (Anaheim, CA) and the visiting El Modena Vanguards (Orange, CA), saw Canyon's softball squad nip El Modena by a count of 6-0.
The Comanches now sport a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to El Dorado for a non-league match on Thursday, March 17. Canyon will face a Golden Hawks squad coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Villa Park (Villa Park, CA). The Golden Hawks record now stands at 7-6.
With the loss, El Modena falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Vanguards travel to Sonora (La Habra, CA) to face the Raiders in a non-league match on Thursday, March 17. The Raiders enter the match with a record of 5-7. Sonora lost 3-2 in their recent non-league match against St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA)
