March 15, 2022: Kennewick, WA 99336 Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Kennewick Lions (Kennewick, WA) and the visiting Sunnyside Grizzlies (Sunnyside, WA), witnessed Kennewick's softball squad prevail over Sunnyside by a count of 16-4.
The Lions now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Cheney for a non-league match on Wednesday, March 16.
With the loss, Sunnyside moves to 0-1 on the season. The Grizzlies host Wenatchee (Wenatchee, WA) to meet the Panthers in a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 match on Friday, April 1. The Panthers go into the match with a record of 0-0.
