The Mountain Ridge Sentinels (Herriman, UT) softball nipped the visiting Skyridge Falcons (Lehi, UT), 6-5 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Sentinels (5-1) will now prepare for their bout against Viewmont (Bountiful, UT). The Vikings go into the non-league bout with a 5-1 record. In their last bout, Viewmont held off Davis (Kaysville, UT), 10-9, in a non-league bout.

The Falcons now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Herriman for a non-league bout on Thursday, March 17. Skyridge will confront a Mustangs squad coming off a 11-4 non-league loss to Lone Peak (Highland, UT). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-6.
