The Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes routed the visiting Shiprock Chieftains softball squad by a final score of 16-1 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Elks/Elkettes (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Miyamura (Gallup, NM). The Patriots go into the non-league battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Miyamura was routed by Cobre (Bayard, NM), 10-0, in a non-league battle.
