March 15, 2023: Geismar, LA 70734 The Dutchtown Griffins (Geismar, LA) baseball nipped the visiting Acadiana Rams (Lafayette, LA), 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Griffins play the Lutcher Bulldogs (Lutcher, LA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 17. Dutchtown will attempt to better on its 14-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 2-2 record after their 8-2 non-league loss to St. Charles Catholic (LaPlace, LA).
The Rams now sport a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they host Comeaux for a 5A District 3 contest on Thursday, March 16. Acadiana will play a Spartans squad coming off a 16-5 non-league win over St. Martinville (St. Martinville, LA). The Spartans record now stands at 11-6.
