March 15, 2023: Ville Platte, LA 70586 Crowley Gent (Crowley, LA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Ville Platte Bulldogs (Ville Platte, LA), 21-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Crowley upgrades its record to 6-9 on the season. The Gent travel to Church Point (Church Point, LA) to battle the Bears in a non-league test on Thursday, March 16. The Bears come into the test with a record of 0-4.
The Bulldogs (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Franklin (Franklin, LA). The Hornets go into the non-league game with a 4-5 record. In their last game, Franklin ran past White Castle (White Castle, LA), 16-2, in a non-league game.
