The Maury Commodores the host Currituck County Knights baseball team by a count of 11-6 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Commodores now possess a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Great Bridge for a non-league bout on Friday, March 17. Maury will face a Wildcats team coming off a 8-7 non-league loss to Greenbrier Christian Academy (Chesapeake, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.
