In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls baseball team scored a nice 12-2 victory over the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans.

The Ragin' Bulls (6-1) will now prepare for their game against Mooresville (Mooresville, NC). The Blue Devils go into the Greater Metro 4A game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, Mooresville was overwhelmed by Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC), 17-6, in a league game.

The Trojans (4-2) will now prepare for their game against West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC). The Falcons go into the South Piedmont 3A game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, West Rowan overcame Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC), 9-5, in a league match.
