North Carolina High School Baseball - Oak Grove holds off West Forsyth
March 15, 2023: Winston-Salem, NC 27107 Oak Grove Grizzlies (Winston-Salem, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting West Forsyth Titans (Clemmons, NC), 5-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Oak Grove upgrades its record to 3-6 on the season. The Grizzlies travel to Asheboro (Asheboro, NC) to battle the Blue Comets in a Mid-Piedmont 3A test on Tuesday, March 21. The Blue Comets come into the test with a record of 4-1. Asheboro won 11-8 in their recent non-league test against Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC)
With the defeat, West Forsyth falls to 6-2 on the season. The Titans travel to Parkland (Winston-Salem, NC) to battle the Mustangs in a Central Piedmont 4A test on Thursday, March 16. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 0-3. Parkland lost 20-0 in their recent league test against West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC)
