In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Sinton Pirates baseball team scored a nice 13-0 victory over the Taft Greyhounds.

The Pirates (15-1) will now prepare for their game against Jones (Beeville, TX). The Trojans go into the 4A Region IV District 30 game with a 5-12 record. In their last game, Jones was overwhelmed by Orange Grove (Orange Grove, TX), 5-0, in a league game.

The Greyhounds (5-7) will now prepare for their game against Odem (Odem, TX). The Owls go into the 3A Region IV District 29 game with a 10-7 record.
