The Highlands Highlanders (Highlands, NC) soccer nipped the host Franklin Panthers (Franklin, NC), 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

With the victory, Highlands moves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Highlanders travel to Swain County (Bryson City, NC) to confront the Maroon Devils in a Smoky Mountain 1A bout on Monday, March 20. The Maroon Devils enter the bout with a record of 3-1. Swain County won 6-1 in their recent league bout against Blue Ridge Early College (Cashiers, NC)
