St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats (San Francisco, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Aragon Dons (San Mateo, CA), 10-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Burlingame for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 17.

With the loss, Aragon falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Dons travel to Saint Francis (Mountain View, CA) to battle the Lancers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 16. The Lancers enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. Saint Francis won 8-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Santa Teresa (San Jose, CA)
