Georgia High School Lacrosse - Marist sneaks past Woodstock
March 15, 2024: Woodstock, GA 30189 The Marist War Eagles lacrosse team scored 8 points and held the host Woodstock Wolverines to 7 in the War Eagles non-league win on Friday.
The War Eagles (7-2) will now prepare for their game against Greater Atlanta Christian (Norcross, GA). The Spartans go into the non-league match with a 6-4 record. In their last match, Greater Atlanta Christian tipped Midtown (Atlanta, GA), 18-1, in a league match.
With the defeat, Woodstock drops to 5-5 on the season. The Wolverines host Sequoyah (Canton, GA) to play the Chiefs in a 5A-6A Area 4 match on Wednesday, March 20. The Chiefs go into the match with a record of 9-2. Sequoyah lost 7-6 in their recent non-league match against Denmark (Alpharetta, GA)
