Kentucky High School Softball - Taylor County bounces Breckinridge County
March 15, 2024: Campbellsville, KY 42718 Taylor County Cardinals (Campbellsville, KY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Breckinridge County Fighting Tigers (Harned, KY), 20-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Cardinals now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mercer County for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 18. Taylor County will face a Titans squad coming off a 10-9 non-league win over Pulaski County (Somerset, KY). The Titans record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Breckinridge County falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Fighting tigers host Butler County (Morgantown, KY) to face the Bears in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 18. The Bears enter the challenge with a record of 0-2. Butler County lost 11-0 in their recent non-league game against Apollo (Owensboro, KY)
