Oregon High School Softball - Hood River Valley bounces Lake Oswego
March 15, 2024: Hood River, OR 97031 Hood River Valley Eagles (Hood River, OR) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Lake Oswego Lakers (Lake Oswego, OR), 17-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Pendleton for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 18. Hood River Valley will face a Buckaroos squad coming off a 9-5 non-league win over East Valley (Yakima, WA). The Buckaroos record now stands at 4-1.
With the loss, Lake Oswego falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Lakers host Newberg (Newberg, OR) to face the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 18. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Newberg won 6-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Lebanon (Lebanon, OR)
