The Desert Hills Thunder baseball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Richfield Wildcats to 2 in the Thunder non-league win on Saturday.

The Thunder now hold a 9-0 record. They take the field next when they host Union for a non-league test on Friday, March 21. Desert Hills will play a Cougars team coming off a 8-5 non-league win over Springville (Springville, UT). The Cougars record now stands at 7-0.

With the defeat, Richfield drops to 1-5 on the year. The Wildcats host Delta (Delta, UT) to play the Rabbits in a 3A Region 12 test on Tuesday, March 18. The Rabbits go into the test with a record of 6-1. Delta won 18-3 in their recent non-league test against Millard (Fillmore, UT)
