March 15, 2025: Lakewood, CA 90713 The Gabrielino Eagles (San Gabriel, CA) volleyball held off the host Lakewood Lancers (Lakewood, CA), 1-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 6-10 record. They play next when they travel to Bellflower for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 15. Gabrielino will clash with a Buccaneers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Santa Fe (Santa Fe Springs, CA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 7-4.
With the loss, Lakewood drops to 3-7 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Long Beach Poly (Long Beach, CA) to clash with the Jackrabbits in a Moore bout on Tuesday, March 18. The Jackrabbits come into the bout with a record of 16-4. Long Beach Poly lost 1-0 in their recent non-league bout against San Marcos (Santa Barbara, CA)
