North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Middle Creek bounces Weddington

The Middle Creek Mustangs lacrosse squad scored 16 points and limited the host Weddington Warriors to 3 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Mustangs now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holly Springs for a Southwest Wake outing on Monday, March 17. Middle Creek will face a Golden Hawks squad coming off a 13-7 non-league loss to Broughton (Raleigh, NC). The Golden Hawks record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Weddington falls to 0-2 on the year. The Warriors travel to Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC) to play the Knights in a non-league game on Friday, March 21. The Knights come into the game with a record of 8-0. Ardrey Kell won 11-6 in their recent non-league game against Topsail (Hampstead, NC)
