Bishop Kelly Knights (Boise, ID) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Brighton Bengals (Salt Lake City, UT), 9-3 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Bishop Kelly upgrades its record to 6-0 on the year. The Knights travel to Caldwell (Caldwell, ID) to play the Cougars in a 4A Southern Idaho game on Tuesday, March 25. The Cougars enter the game with a record of 1-0.

The Bengals now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to West for a 5A Region 6 contest on Tuesday, March 18. Brighton will face a Panthers squad coming off a 28-3 non-league loss to Providence Hall (Herriman, UT). The Panthers record now stands at 0-5.
