The Carbon Dinos softball squad (Price, UT), was routed 9-5 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Shelley Russets (Shelley, ID)

With the triumph, Shelley improves its record to 3-2 on the year. The Russets travel to Grand County (Moab, UT) to face the Red Devils in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 15. The Red Devils enter the contest with a record of 7-1. Grand County won 15-4 in their recent non-league contest against South Summit (Kamas, UT)

The Dinos now hold a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Canyon View for a 3A Region 12 contest on Tuesday, March 18. Carbon will face a Falcons squad coming off a 15-14 non-league win over Skyline (Salt Lake City, UT). The Falcons record now stands at 2-10.
