Arkansas High School Softball - Dardanelle sneaks past Carlisle
March 15, 2025: Dardanelle, AR 72834 The Dardanelle Sand Lizards (Dardanelle, AR) softball nipped the visiting Carlisle Bison (Carlisle, AR), 6-5 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Sand Lizards now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pottsville for a 4A Region 4 outing on Tuesday, March 18. Dardanelle will encounter a Apaches team coming off a 10-1 non-league win over Dover (Dover, AR). The Apaches record now stands at 4-3.
With the loss, Carlisle moves to 5-6 on the season. The Bison travel to McCrory (McCrory, AR) to encounter the Jaguars in a 2A Region 6 outing on Monday, March 17. The Jaguars come into the outing with a record of 2-3. McCrory won 7-3 in their recent non-league outing against Mt. Vernon-Enola (Mt. Vernon, AR)
