Arkansas High School Softball - Lamar held off by Carlisle
March 15, 2025: Lamar, AR 72846 In Saturday's non-league test, the Carlisle Bison (Carlisle, AR) softball squad got by the host Lamar Warriors (Lamar, AR), by a tally of 5-4.
Next, the Bison meet the McCrory Jaguars (McCrory, AR) in a 2A Region 6 test, on Monday, March 17. Carlisle will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Jaguars go into the test with a 2-3 record after their 7-3 non-league win over Mt. Vernon-Enola (Mt. Vernon, AR).
The Warriors (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Woodlawn (Rison, AR). The Bears go into the non-league test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Woodlawn held off Horatio (Horatio, AR), 13-3, in a non-league test.
