Texas High School Softball - Snyder sneaks past Permian
March 15, 2025: Snyder, TX 79549 The Snyder Tigers (Snyder, TX) softball nipped the visiting Permian Panthers (Odessa, TX), 4-3 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Tigers now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake View for a 4A Region I District 5 outing on Tuesday, March 18. Snyder will encounter a Chiefs/Maidens team coming off a 16-5 non-league loss to Greenwood (Midland, TX). The Chiefs/Maidens record now stands at 9-7.
With the loss, Permian moves to 14-7 on the season. The Panthers host Midland (Midland, TX) to encounter the Bulldogs in a 6A Region I District 2 outing on Tuesday, March 18. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a record of 19-3. Midland lost 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Abilene (Abilene, TX)
