Northpoint Christian Trojans (Southaven, MS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting North Pike Jaguars (Summit, MS), 9-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, Northpoint Christian upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Trojans travel to White Station (Memphis, TN) to battle the Spartans in a non-league test on Friday, March 18. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 1-2. White Station lost 9-6 in their recent non-league test against Haywood (Brownsville, TN)

With the defeat, North Pike falls to 6-6 on the season. The Jaguars host South Pike (Magnolia, MS) to battle the Eagles in a 4A Region 6 test on Friday, March 25. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 0-5.
