March 16, 2022: Laguna Hills, CA 92653 Laguna Hills Hawks (Laguna Hills, CA) backers left the game in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors (Downey, CA), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Hawks battle the Portola Bulldogs (Irvine, CA) in a Pacific Coast match, on Friday, March 18. Laguna Hills will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 15-8 record after their 3-1 league loss to Northwood (Irvine, CA).
With the loss, St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Maranatha (Pasadena, CA) to battle the Minutemen in a non-league match on Wednesday, March 16. The Minutemen come into the match with a record of 2-2. Maranatha won 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Pomona (Pomona, CA)
