Virginia High School Lacrosse - Monticello can't get by Hanover
March 16, 2022: Mechanicsville, VA 23116 Hanover Hawks (Mechanicsville, VA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the visiting Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA), 15-14 in a non-league battle.
The Hawks now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Godwin for a non-league battle on Monday, March 21. Hanover will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 17-7 non-league loss to Atlee (Mechanicsville, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Goochland Bulldogs (Goochland, VA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 18. Monticello will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 12-9 non-league loss to Orange County (Orange, VA).
