Georgia High School Soccer - Columbus knocks off Troup County
March 16, 2022: LaGrange, GA 30241 Columbus Blue Devils (Columbus, GA) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Troup County Tigers (LaGrange, GA), 5-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Blue Devils confront the Calhoun Yellow Jackets (Calhoun, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 19. Columbus will attempt to move on its 9-0 season record. The Yellow Jackets enter the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 3-1 league win over Hiram (Hiram, GA).
The Tigers now possess a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carver for a AAAA Region 2 challenge on Friday, March 18. Troup County will confront a Tigers team coming off a 8-1 league loss to Hardaway (Columbus, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 0-3.
