California High School Baseball - Poly holds off Upland

March 16, 2023: Riverside, CA 92506

Poly Bears (Riverside, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Upland Highlanders/Scots (Upland, CA), 6-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Poly upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Bears travel to Moreno Valley (Moreno Valley, CA) to battle the Vikings in a Ivy test on Saturday, March 18. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 6-4. Moreno Valley lost 11-1 in their recent league test against Temescal Canyon (Lake Elsinore, CA)

With the defeat, Upland falls to 4-3 on the season. The Highlanders/scots host Alta Loma (Alta Loma, CA) to battle the Braves in a non-league test on Saturday, March 18. The Braves come into the test with a record of 5-2. Alta Loma lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Bonita (La Verne, CA)
