North Carolina High School Soccer - East Davidson overwhelmed by Wheatmore
March 16, 2023: Trinity, NC 27370 The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC) and the visiting East Davidson Golden Eagles (Thomasville, NC), saw Wheatmore's soccer squad triumph over East Davidson by a margin of 9-1.
The Warriors now sport a 6-0 record. They play next when they travel to Randleman for a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A test on Monday, March 20. Wheatmore will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 8-1 league win over Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, East Davidson drops to 3-1 on the season. The Golden eagles host Lexington (Lexington, NC) to meet the Yellowjackets in a Central Carolina 1A/2A test on Monday, March 20. The Yellowjackets come into the test with a record of 0-5. Lexington lost 9-0 in their recent non-league test against Leadership Academy (Kernersville, NC)
