March 16, 2023: Forest Grove, OR 97116 The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Forest Grove Vikings (Forest Grove, OR) and the visiting Roosevelt Roughriders (Portland, OR), saw Forest Grove's softball squad achieve victory over Roosevelt by a count of 16-6.
The Vikings now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Tigard for a non-league match on Monday, March 20.
With the loss, Roosevelt falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Roughriders host Sunset (Portland, OR) to face the Apollos in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 21. The Apollos enter the match with a record of 0-2. Sunset lost 7-4 in their recent non-league match against Barlow (Gresham, OR)
