March 16, 2024: Laverne, OK 73848 Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Alva Goldbugs (Alva, OK) and the host Laverne Tigers (Laverne, OK), saw Alva's baseball squad knock off Laverne by a count of 14-6.
Coming up next, the Goldbugs play the Chisholm Longhorns (Enid, OK) in a 3A District 4 battle, on Monday, March 18. Alva will attempt to move on its 7-5 season record. The Longhorns enter the battle with a 6-4 record after their 8-4 non-league win over Drummond (Drummond, OK).
The Tigers now possess a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Canute for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 16.
